Happy Easter!

This year was Jenna's first Easter! We celebrated by of course going to church and then headed to brunch at one of our favorite restaurants, Amato's. Mimi (whose name has been shortened to "Meems") is in town because she took the first shift of "Operation Mommy Goes Back to Work." She will be here until the end of the week and then Grandma comes, and Tia Leah and Willa too!

Jenna Meets the Easter Bunny

I was wanting to get some mileage out of Miss Jenna's Easter dress, so I put her in it and off we went to meet the Easter Bunny! I love it! She even smiled!

Texas Bluebonnets

For those who do not live in Texas, springtime is the time to drive around and take pictures of your cute kids in fields of bluebonnets. Usually this is not a challenging task. This year however, the fields are sparse with the State Flower. Being the determined person that I am, I called up my friend Carrie, to see if she and her daughter, Katie would like to join Miss Jenna and me on a trek around town to find some bluebonnets. We ended up driving all afternoon and found a pathetically small patch about an hour or so away from home!!! I just couldn't give up!

Jenna and Mommy were out shopping for new shirts for Daddy the other day and Jenna decided that she was not interested in sucking on her binky any longer. (Excuse the funny cropping of the picture, I took it with my cell phone. Aaahh... technology!)

Jenna's favorite new way to go for a walk is in her Baby Bjorn carrier. Alfie seems to love this arrangement as well because he doesn't run the risk of getting accidentally run over by her stroller! Everyone is happy!

When Daddy Gets Jenna Dressed...

Daddy's sometime don't know that baby girls socks are not meant to be pulled up to their knees!

Brandon was nice enough to get Miss Jenna dressed for church while I finished getting ready. He wasn't sure about how this whole outfit went together. Unfortunately I did not have my camera at the time, but he had put her onesie on backwards with the buttons that should go down her back, in the front like a boys polo shirt. I can't complain though because he is doing a great job helping me out! :)
