Meeting Auntie Missie and Crazy Texas Weather

Jenna is growing up and changing so fast! She is really starting to become aware of her surroundings and has taken quite an interest in her reflection. She has also grown out of her newborn diapers and sleepers. Sniff, sniff.

What a pretty baby I am!

So, you ask... why is Jenna dressed for summer in February?

Well, that would be because of this crazy Texas weather! It was 85 degrees yesterday!

She sure has quite a wardrobe at only 7 1/2 weeks!

Auntie Missie (one of Mommy's best friends) had a layover at DFW on her way to Costa Rica. Jenna adored her! Uncle Aaron was flying on a different airline, so he'll get to meet Jenna next time! hint, hint!

Easter may be a quite a few weeks away still, but Jenna is all ready. Check out her bunny slippers that Mimi bought for her!

Yea! Something Fits Her!

Finally! Jenna fits into something other than pajamas and onesies! A dress from Grandma!

(Note: She is also wearing adorable shoes from Mimi, but you can't see them in the picture!)

Now I Just Need to Get Pictures in the Frames...

After many months in the making, Jenna's nursery is complete. I finally hung something on the walls! Well, I should clarify, it is almost complete. I still need to put actual pictures in the frames. I plan on putting baby pictures of Brandon and me, and changing out pictures of Jenna periodically. Note: I will definitely be rethinking the placement of the crib in relation to the frames above it once Jenna starts standing up in her crib!

We've been having an unseasonably warm winter down here in Texas, and I am not certain that Jenna will even get to wear her beautiful baby bunting that Mimi knitted for her. So, I wanted to make sure to show it off though just in case! Mimi also knitted her a lovely purple carseat blanket, which Jenna will definitely use for years to come!
