Jenna Looking So Cute After Church!

My Uncle Daniel and his wife, Christina sent this outfit to Jenna. I believe both of their girls (Anya and Lexi) wore it. Since Jenna doesn't an older sister, it was nice to get such a darling hand-me-down from my little cousins.

Jenna and Alfie had been watching cars go by. Alfie would bark and Jenna would point.

Jenna's First Thanksgiving...uuuummmm, Christmas....

My parents came to town for Thanksgiving this year and Heather drove up from San Antonio. Of course, Lawrence already lives in Dallas, so he didn't have too far to drive! Jenna really enjoyed seeing all of them and seemed to really enjoy the turkey, as well as the presents! We had a special practice Christmas, so my family could watch her open presents.
Aunt Heather shares her phone with Jenna while waiting to trim the tree.
Jenna helps Mommy "decorate" after dinner. She seemed to really enjoy turkey!

Playing with her noisy penguin from uncle Lawrence.

Checking out her new ballpit/clubhouse.

Daddy and Grandpa inflate the clubhouse.
Uncle Lawrence entertains her with the balls, while she patiently awaits the assembly of her new ball pit!

Jenna tries it out.

She loves crawling in and out.

Yea!!!! Yo Gabba Gabba!!

Jenna sure loves her Uncle Lawrence!

Grandma and Grandpa (or as Jenna says, "uma" an "umpa") come for Thanksgivng

Jenna Finds Her Own Fun!

Recently, Jenna has learned the sign for ball. She has also learned how to entertain herself by playing catch all by herself.

A Surprise Visitor

Last Friday night there was an unexpected ring on the doorbell. My sister, Heather drove up from San Antonio as a surprise. Jenna was thrilled to see her! and so was I! Here's a picture of them at he park.

Mommy and Daddy Go Out of Town

A few weeks ago, Brandon and I went on our first out of town trip since Jenna was born. We went to Lubbock for the Tech vs A&M game. Sadly for me Tech lost, but Brandon was thrilled. First time they have beaten us at home in years. Anyhoo, Jenna had a blast with Mimi and Papa while we were gone, and I am sure they had fun too! Here a some pictures taken while we were gone.

Jenna Goes Strolling!

Jenna has started walking! Well, not walking exactly. She has started pushing things to get around. So, here she is pushing her baby stroller with her stuffed gorilla in it. I guess I need to go buy her a baby doll!

Jenna Goes Trick or Treating

The Princess and the Pea

The Princess and Tinkerbell

Even though she is still too young to eat candy, I took Jenna along with my friend Andrea and her daughter Hannah (aka Tinkerbell) trick or treating. Daddy stayed home to pass out candy. Jenna enjoyed going around the neighborhood in her stroller and really seemed to like being in a costume. Alfie, on the other hand, was less than thrilled to be wearing animal attire. He did like going for a walk though!

And One More Thing...

6. I am obsessed with Jenna's daily imports and exports. She's nearly 10 months old and I still track daily how many wet and poopy diapers she has. I track how many ounces of breast milk she drinks, which I can do because I only pump and she takes it from a bottle. I track how many ounces of breast milk I pump. I track how many tablespoons of baby food she eats and what she eats. I track how many hours to the minute she sleeps in a 24 hour period. I reason that I do it in case the Doctor asks, so I can give him an accurate answer. The truth is, I just can't bring myself to stop keeping track of every detail of her day. How do I do this while I am at work one might wonder...Miss Paige is wonderful and happy to oblige my madness!!!

I've Been Tagged

I have been tagged by my friend, Julie. I met Julie and her husband Jason 5 years ago at our previous church in the Young Married Sunday School Class. She and Jason were married about the same time that Brandon and I were. However, they got started much earlier on the procreating. They just had their 3rd! We also taught at the same elementary school, but at different times. If you haven't read her blog before, check it out. I ALWAYS laugh out loud!

Here's the deal with this tag: share five things you're obsessed with and then pass the award on to the five most fabulous blogs you know.

1. I am obsessed with my Blackberry. I am embarrassed to admit this. Mainly because I used to get onto Brandon for always being on his. Now, I am am always checking mine. I check my email and Facebook and even browse though friends blogs. Sometimes I even shop online. I send texts and once in awhile I actually call somebody with it! I can take pictures and videos with it and then email them, text them, or post them to Facebook. There is no end to the things it can do!

2. I am obsessed with clipping Box Tops for Education. I will even buy a different brand even if it costs more than the 10 cents the box top is worth just to get the box top! And don't even think about throwing one away in my presence because you are going to hear about it from me!I mean, it's free money for schools!!! Would you throw away free money?

3. I am obsessed with watching everything I have taped on my DVR. Heaven forbid should I get behind on my TV watching or not know what is going on, on one of my MANY shows. I almost breath a sigh of relief in May when the networks start the horrible summer line-ups and a bunch of reruns. It means I have one less thing that I "have to" do!

4. I am obsessed with I started reading this website religiously while I was pregnant and now it is part of my daily internet habit. I belong to a community message board that is a bunch of moms that had babies in January of 2009. We went through our pregnancies together and now the first year. I have never met any of these women, but I feel like I know all of them and their babies! The funny thing is that I rarely post anything or even comment. I'm like a cyber stalker that lurks on the board. I really need to start calling my friends more!

5. I am obsessed with finding Old Navy's hidden coupons online. If you have never done this check it out on their website. The sight is updated sometime every Thursday. You just click around on the page and try moving things around and then coupons pop up. I cheat though, and check out the online cheat sheet. The sight will only let you print off one coupon per week. I try and try,but I can never seem to get a $75 off $100 or even the $50 off $100. How cool would that be?

Now I tag

Jenna Goes to the Pumpkin Patch

Last weekend we joined our friends, The Rhodes at the Pumpkin Patch. Brandon said, "It's just for show this year," which it was. Jenna had no interest in the animals or the pumpkins. In fact, we forgot to even buy one! She was however, very interested in people watching. She also enjoyed the hayride. She didn't pay much attention to what was going on, but she seemed to enjoy the wind in her hair! (This was reaffirmed the next day at church when we got to ride in the parking lot shuttle from the car, which is actually a golf cart!)

A family shot.

Another family shot. It was a breezy morning.

For Those of you Familiar with Don't Let the Pigeon Stay Up Late!

Papa sure is a sucker for his granddaughter. She didn't want to taker her nap and he didn't want to make her!

Pleeeeeaaasssse Papa! Get me out of my crib. No one has to know! It'll be our secret, okay? But I'm not even tired! Just 5 more minutes! I'll be real good.
