Guess Who Weighs 20 Pounds!!!!!!

We went for Jenna's 18 month check up and she finally hit 20 pounds! In fact she weighed in at 20 pounds exactly! She's still around the 3rd percentile, which is kind of hard to believe because she eats like a horse! So, yea!!!! car seat is now facing forward and someone is very happy about this!

Our Final Days in Texas

When Grandma and Grandpa took Jenna for pictures in the bluebonnets, she also got a special lunch at Chuck E. Cheese. She had a blast!

One of Jenna's favorite pastimes is going for "rides" in the laundry baskets...thanks Papa! Really it's more just Mommy and Daddy pushing her around and Jenna laughing hysterically.

The laundry baskets were already packed, so Jenna made a compromise and sat in a smaller basket. Here she is quite frustrated that she is not yet going for a "ride."

Mommy is happy to oblige.

New State...New Blog

Well, we've been together as a family in Colorado for a little over two weeks now. Snowy when we first arrived, but now it is simply gorgeous! Sunny, warm, highs near 70 with a mild breeze. I am glad I am being broken into the area with such lovely weather.

Since we are no longer in Texas, I will be changing the name of our blog to Our Life in the Rockies. I also decided that I want to take our names out of our web address, so I will also be changing our address to www.ourlifeintherockies.blogspot.com. I will change this sometime in the next 24 hours. Sorry, no pictures this post, but I will be to updating soon! We should be moving into our new home around the end of this month. So, needless to say there will be A LOT to catch up on!

The Easter Party at School

While Grandma and Grandpa were visiting for Easter, Jenna's school had an Easter party. So they joined the fun with Jenna!

Jenna's teachers always comment what a good little eater she is. Why then is she only the 4th percentile in weight?

Reading one a her favorite books with Grandpa. She loves this book so much that she tried to steal it when we left the other day. She put it in her bag and started dragging her bag away all the while saying, "Bye bye!" She also gets quite irritated with the other children when they are wanting a turn with it. Needless to say, I ordered her a copy off of Amazon.
