Ooops! I Almost Forgot Easter!

Jenna got to color eggs for the first time this ear. Not sure why I reused to buy the egg coloring kit, but I thought why buy it when you can make it yourself. BIG mistake! HUGE! (Pretty Woman, anyone?) Anyhoo, the eggs still got dyed, but they turned earth tones instead of pastels. Oh well, live and learn1

These eggs are supposed to turn yellow and purple. We got yellow, but purple was more brown.

Why use a spoon to turn the eggs when she has a perfectly good finger?!

The Easter Party at School

While Grandma and Grandpa were visiting for Easter, Jenna's school had an Easter party. So they joined the fun with Jenna!

Jenna's teachers always comment what a good little eater she is. Why then is she only the 4th percentile in weight?

Reading one a her favorite books with Grandpa. She loves this book so much that she tried to steal it when we left the other day. She put it in her bag and started dragging her bag away all the while saying, "Bye bye!" She also gets quite irritated with the other children when they are wanting a turn with it. Needless to say, I ordered her a copy off of Amazon.

Jenna's Second Easter

Happy Easter!

This year was Jenna's first Easter! We celebrated by of course going to church and then headed to brunch at one of our favorite restaurants, Amato's. Mimi (whose name has been shortened to "Meems") is in town because she took the first shift of "Operation Mommy Goes Back to Work." She will be here until the end of the week and then Grandma comes, and Tia Leah and Willa too!

Jenna Meets the Easter Bunny

I was wanting to get some mileage out of Miss Jenna's Easter dress, so I put her in it and off we went to meet the Easter Bunny! I love it! She even smiled!

I hope everyone had a joyous Resurrection Sunday! We were very blessed to have some friends join us after church for in very last minute Easter Brunch. It was a great time of yummy food and fellowship. We also had an Easter Egg Hunt for the kiddos. Since we do not have children of our own, here are some pictures of two of my favorite kiddos "searching" for eggs our backyard. So cute!!
