Jenna Takes a Break from Taxes

Well, Jenna hasn't exactly been doing a lot of taxes because she is still working on counting, but Brandon sure has.  In the middle of Tax Season he decided he missed us and worked from home for a couple of days! So when Daddy wanted to take a break we did fun stuff together! We went on a walk and Jenna "rode" her tricycle and we went to the park.

Jenna Wears Daddy's Jacket

Lately, Jenna really has an opinion on what it is that she would like to wear. Note: It does not always coincide with what Mommy wants for her to wear! She had a MAJOR meltdown this morning because I would not let her wear an Elmo shirt that was to small for her. People were coming over. Had it just been the two of us at home I would not have cared much. However, I didn't want to look like a horrible mother that doesn't buy her child clothes that fit. In hindsight, I probably should have just let her wear the shirt. It really wasn't worth the fight! Below is a picture of what Jenna wanted to wear to go to the gym. She didn't win that one either!



Mommy and Daddy Get to Go Somewhere Alone!

Okay, so I lied. One last Michigan post. Brandon and I got to spend a day alone while Gumma and Bumpa watched Jenna. So we headed to the UP (Upper Peninsula for non- Michiganders) to see Tahquamenon Falls and spend sometime hiking around. It was fun day trip and we even stopped to get a couple of pictures at Lake Superior on the way home.
